Full Service Network Infrastructure Firm Launched
The Hickory Metro market now has a new option for Network Infrastructure services. NC Networx was born out of a desire to provide professional services that go
beyond just technology.
NC Networx is a partnership between Microsoft Dynamics VAR, KeyQuest Consulting, and Network Engineer, Jeremy Alexander. KeyQuest Consulting provides a
background of high quality business to business technology services. Alexander brings a wealth of Network Infrastructure experience.
Alexander is an MCSE and has many technical certifications. His past experience with technology leaders HP and Gateway helped to refined his ability to
solve difficult technical problems. He developed a passion for offering network consulting with a high level of customer service through his experience with
the clients of Lan-Com Technologies, DHW FirstTech Solutions, and Carolinas NetCare.
Even after gaining his MCSE and A+ certification, Jeremy continues to use his talents with hardware and operating systems to compliment his talents for
network implementation and troubleshooting.

Problem Solving
With 12 plus years in network support and over 50 certifications from Microsoft, HP, Citrix, and other industry leaders, we have the experience and skills to diagnose and resolve most network problems. Issues ranging from printing problems to network failure are being fixed by our engineers even as you read this.
Network Documentation
In the small to medium business size market, networks are often supported on a minute by minute basis with little to no time left for documentation. We offer a network evaluation / documentation project to most new customers to address this deficiency. Most times after a network documentation project has been completed, more than one bottleneck, mis-configuration, or network inefficiency can be spotted and recommendations made.
Perimeter Security
The perimeter security of your network is oft overlooked and if so is likely contributing to your day to day network headaches. We have extensive experience deploying and maintaining Fortinet, Watchguard, Cisco, and Microsoft firewall products. Not sure how secure your existing firewall is? We’d be glad to take a look at it for you.
Network Redesign
A surprising number of networks are put together like Frankenstein’s monster. A piece of this, a piece of that, each part added to address a specific need, but not necessarily fitted to the rest of the whole. In many of these cases the disparate pieces can be realigned to form a more complete whole with either the addition of a new server or the redeployment of an old one in a new role. Our business is based on making the entire network function as a well tuned machine, so we are used to working with your other vendors to make it all work in harmony.
New Server Projects
We have extensive experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting a wide variety of Microsoft server based products, the most common of these being Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, and ISA. Many network redesign projects start with a new server to tie everything together and more effectively centrally manage your workstations. Having worked for a half dozen Microsoft certified solutions providers to date, our lead Engineer has extensive experience and knowledge regarding recommended best practices, secure implementations, and disaster recovery. Our networks and servers are configured to Microsoft’s standards with security and reliability being taken into account at every step of the way.
Server Maintenance/Support
As you may well know, just because a computer or server is setup right from the start doesn’t mean that it’ll still be working fine a month from now. Software gets installed, things get changed, and next thing you know you’ve got a problem on your hands. To help address and monitor this situation we offer server contracts. Our server contracts consist of monitoring several key items as well as any additional items you may require. Some of the more common things we monitor as part of our server contracts are backups, antivirus, drive space, and error logs. I addition to these services, we will manage your licensing, server updates, and user accounts.
